What Motivates You?

As believers, we often look to scripture to guide our giving. Some motivations are listed below...what motivates you to give?
Worship
- Giving is a way to show love for God and to express gratitude, trust, and obedience.
Faith
- Giving can increase faith in God and help people break free from the love of money.
Imitation of God
- Christians are called to imitate God, who is a God of abundance and loves to give.
Response to God's generosity
- Christians believe that everything they have is a gift from God, and that they should use their possessions to benefit the world.
Eternal rewards
- Christians believe that what they give up, they gain.
Positive effects on relationships
- Giving can have positive effects on human relationships and can lead to a heightened sense of interdependence and cooperation.
Being a good steward
- Being a generous giver can be facilitated by being a wise and faithful steward in every area of finances.
Making an impact
